1 package of Tuoppi Mallasmestari's archipelago bread ingredients

2 1/2 dl water, orange juice or buttermilk

1 dl (80 g) sunflower seeds or seed mixture

100 g Halvan Wanhan ajan Premium licorice


  1. Warm up the liquid to roughly 42 degrees. Mix the dry yeast into the flour mixture. Also add chopped licorice pieces and seeds.

  2. Add the liquid to the flour mixture and mix until the dough is smooth.

  3. Pour the dough into a greased loaf pan and let it rise, covered, in a warm, draft-free place for 1-1 1/2 hours.

  4. Bake the bread in a 175-degree oven for 50-60 minutes.

  5. Remove the slightly cooled loaf from the pan and let it cool well before cutting. The bread keeps well and can be frozen.

  6. Serve the bread as is, with grilled salmon or cheeses.
